The Combination Starter Kit by COSMEDIX Skin Care is the perfect choice to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and an uneven skin tone MORNING ROUTINE ☀️ Step 1: Cleanse with Purity Clean Exfoliation Cleanser 🌿 Wet your face with lukewarm water. Apply a small amount of Purity Cleanser to your fingertips and gently massage it onto your skin in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat your face dry. You can use morning and night without stripping the skin. For next steps, we recommend adding our Benefit Gentle Cleaner for morning cleansing and continue using Purity Clean Exfoliating as an active cleanser in the evening.
FYI: Cosmedix cleansing products offer effective cleansing without the traditional foaming or bubbly experience often associated with other cleansers (More bubbles does not mean cleaner). Instead, it operates through an emulsifying and lathering action, which means it creates a creamy texture allowing the cleanser to surround and trap oil and debris, making it easier to rinse away with water without stripping the skin of it's natural oils or leaving residue on the skin.
Step 2: Benefit Toner 🌱 (NOT included in Kit, Available for purchase a la carte) Apply Benefit Antioxidant Toner to balance your skin's pH levels and tighten pores. Use after cleansing. Moisten a cotton pad with the product and swipe it over your face and neck. Avoid the eye area. Allow it to dry before applying the next product! This step can help balance your skin's pH and enhance the absorption your serum application. Step 3: Apply Clarity Skin-Clarifying Serum 💦 Water Based
Dispense a small (pea sized) amount of the Clarity Serum onto your fingertips. Gently massage the serum into your skin using upwards and outwards motions. Allow serum to fully absorb into your skin before applying any other products. This may take a minute or two.
Step 4: Apply Mystic Hydrating Mist
Spray Mystic Hydrating Treatment to freshly cleansed and toned skin. Pat/Tap to cover face and neck.
ADDITIONAL SKIN CARE NEEDED Step 5: Apply SPF (NOT included in Kit, Available for purchase a la carte) Highly Recommended: If you are leaving out the house during daylight hours you will need environmental protection from pollution and sun exposure. During the daytime, it's crucial to follow up with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 or above, especially when using products that target hyperpigmentation. Sunscreen helps protect your skin from further damage and prevents the dark spots from worsening due to UV exposure. We recommend Hydrate+ SPF and/or Peptide Rich SPF 50 by Cosmedix EVENING ROUTINE 🌙 The skin goes through a natural repair and regeneration process at night, know as the circadian rhythm. This is when cell turnover and collagen production tend to be more active. Using deeper more penetrating active ingredients at night can leverage this natural process and maximize their effectiveness. Avoid delicate eye areas (eyelids and under eyes) If you are new to retinol, you will start with a lower frequency and gradually increase usage as your skin learns to tolerate it. Plan to use every other night. Replace Retinol Step with Moisture Recovery step alternately, every other day. Step 5: Apply Mystic Hydrating Mist
